At New City Church, kids are an important part of our church family. We want children to know they are loved by God and to grow in faith alongside their families.
Sundays with New City Kids
Here’s what Sunday mornings look like for children:
1. Check-In
Birth-Preschool: Check in directly at the Nursery and Preschool rooms before service. Children begin service in their classrooms.
TK-5th grades: Check in at the Kids Check-In table in the church lobby. First-time families will fill out a short form so we have your contact information if needed during the service.
2. Worship
Children in TK–5th grade begin the service with their families in the worship center. This helps kids experience church alongside their parents and be part of the life of the church community.
3. Children’s Dismissal
During the early part of the service, kids will participate in singing and occasional Children's messages, Mission Moments, and baptisms. At the start of the greeting time, kids will be dismissed to follow their teachers down to their Sunday school classrooms.
4. Pick-Up
After the service and coffee time, parents pick up their children from their classrooms and sign them out with a teacher.
